The Institute for Higher Education Policy found that on average, those who participated in prison education programs were 46% less likely to be re-incarcerated. But, with 0 higher education prison programs in Florida, more than 2 of every 3 of those released will be rearrested within 3 years. Not only is it difficult to overcome employer's refusal to hire people with records,  returning citizens find it challenging to adapt to a world that increasingly demands technological literacy while correctional institutions continue to block all access to the web. That's why we created an educational platform that empowers prisoners with the skill set needed to enter the 21st Century workforce: an online-offline content-delivery system,--a kind of unplugged Coursera due to the corrections department's internet restrictions for inmates.
